The M1 comes with a five-year warranty - we'll replace or repair any defective parts at no charge. We reserve the right to charge an inspection fee of $50.

The M1 is fully insulated. Double pane windows help preserve the interior temperature.

Is the M1 expandable?
The M1 has 250 sq. ft. of enclosed living space. You can create additional living space with a deck. You can create over 800 sq . ft. of living space by attaching the M2 to the M1, with a covered deck.
Is the M1 fire-resistant?
The exterior of the M1 is made up of metallic and wood composite materials that are fire-resistant.
Will the M1 survive an earthquake?
As long as the ground the M1 sits on is stable and the wheels are secured, the M1 is expected to survive most earthquakes.
Can the M1 withstand strong winds?
The M1 is designed to withstand 100-MPH winds, but must be secured firmly to the ground when the wheels are on.
Does the M1 come fully-furnished?
The M1 includes all basic kitchen appliances, a sofa, a bed, and bed-side tables.
What delivery time should I expect?
The current delivery time for the M1 is 10 weeks after the purchase agreement is signed.
Is the M1 energy efficient?
The M1 is expected to consume 20% to 30% less energy than a normal home.
What is the cost of shipping?
The cost of shipping is included in the price of the M1.
What is the cost of maintenance?
The annual cost of maintenance for the M1 is not expected to exceed $300/year.
Are the wheels detachable?
The M1 includes a trailer with wheels, which can be detached. If you don't want the wheels, you can purchase the M1 without the trailer, at a reduced price.
Will I need a permit for the M1?
As long as the M1 sits on its integrated trailer, most jurisdictions will not require a building permit. Some jurisdictions and HOAs restrict the placement of mobile structures like the M1 in backyards, open lots, parking spots, etc. You should consult local rules prior to purchasing the M1.
What's the environmental footprint of the M1?
Because of its size, the M1 requires much fewer materials to build and also much less energy to maintain, something that significantly lowers the owner's carbon footprint. Heating an average house generates ~8,000 pounds of CO2 a year, more than 14x the roughly 550 pounds of CO2 emitted by the M1.
